Joshfire and BETC created a connected object for evian (the french mineral water) that allows customers to order bottles of water from their fridge!

To celebrate the launch of the new service evianchezvous.com, evian, BETC and Joshfire created a surprising and innovative connected object…  This object sticks like a magnet on the fridge. With a simple and fun experience, it will allow to order mineral water directly from the kitchen without using a computer or a smartphone.

The next step of the project is to offer the smart drop to subscribers of evianchezvous.com in 2013.

How does it works?

Joshfire created the object from scratch. The smart drop is connected via wifi to the Internet. It contains a microcontroller, a LED screen, a wireless chip, a battery (with one week life), and includes an HTML5 application built using the Joshfire technology. This application can also work on iOS, Android and any browser.
